Goal: To acquire and rehab homes which will be sold to income-eligible families. What program can do: Program can assist potential home buyers with rehab costs/activities on single family homes within the Evansville city limits to bring building up to local building code or for other rehab activities. Some modifications can be done on a limited basis for individual accessibility. What program cannot do: Program can not assist with remodeling costs or activities. Program can not be utilized on mobile homes or for customer contract sales. Who is eligible: Families at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (contact Program Coordinator for specific area income guideline)and families able to obtain housing loan from bank or other financial institution; Work must be completed on single family homes within the city limits of Evansville.
