Recycling Center location:
907 S.E. 8th Street, Suite C, Evansville IN 47713 (Next to ECHO Health Clinic)
Recycling Center hours: 10 AM - 3 PM on Friday; 9 AM - 1 PM on Saturday

Material poundage donated during past program year: 56,000 pounds saved from city landfills

Goals:
To provide local teachers, parents, youth organizations, artists and the community with high quality unwanted materials to develop creative art experiences in learning environments.

To stimulate exciting new possibilities for developing environmental leadership and creative learning.

Services provided:
Local businesses and organizations donate various paper items, plastic containers, and other items which customers purchase utilizing a "Pound Pass." Costs for a "Pound Pass" range from $15 for a 25 "Pound Pass" to $50 for a 125 "Pound Pass".

What program can/cannot do:
Program can allow for non-traditional appointment times for customers in extreme circumstances.

Program cannot make product deliveries.

Program cannot accept low quality products.

Who is eligible:
The Teacher's Recycling Center is open to the general public and anyone wanting to purchase materials.

Additional information:
The Teacher's Recycling Center always accepts donations of high quality reusable paper, plastic and other items which can be utilized by local teaching staff, youth organizations, theater personnel, and artists.
